Albert "Bert" Sperath and Roy "Bud" Davis are coffin artisans in Murray, Kentucky. They hand build finely crafted wooden coffins for Civil War re-enactors, living history enthusiasts, artists, baby boomers - virtually anyone who prefers to go to their final resting place in something more personal and distinctive than a gaudy, expensive, stamped steel, assembly-line casket.
