Post production for THIS TRAIN is taking place at Lightborne, a state-of-the-art post production house located in Cincinnati. Owned and operated by Tom Schiff, Fred and Barbara Hecht, Lightborne recently located to a newly renovated building in Over-the-Rhine. Lightborne became interested in the project in the course of helping Aralee Strange tape and edit a promotional video for THIS TRAIN. THIS TRAIN is being edited on an AVID 9000. Avid is a non-linear, digital technology, which enables filmakers to accomplish their editing on computer, and then format the film stock accordingly. Whie AVID technology has significantly reduced the amount of time needed for post production, its biggest advantages are the greater creative possibilities and expanded flexibility it affords the filmaker. |
