Photography The following photographs are excerpts from my photo exhibit, "Nappy Smiles & Wet Eyes." The complete exhibit contains 25 matted and framed black and white photographs, original poetry and accompanying text excerpted from the Washington Post and the commemorative anthology of speeches and commentary, Million Man March/Day of Absence, produced by Third World Press. The exhibit is dedicated to the men and women who were there and the people that supported us. The exhibit which was most recently featured at Purdue University's Black Cultural Center and at the 1997 National Black Family C onference in Louisville, KY. I am currently building an additional exhibit based on photos taken at the Million Womens March.
