opens a window to the prehistoric past with the production of Written In Stone: The Prehistoric Native American Rock Art of the Ohio Valley. The one-hour public television documentary explores the little-known and often endangered prehistoric Native American petroglyphs (rock carvings) and pictographs (rock paintings) which survive in Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Illinois and Pennsylvania.
