Big Pig Gig Tour
Art Works' Big Pig Gig is modeled after a public art project introduced in Zurich, Switzerland in 1998. Zurich had over 800 decorated fiberglass cows as public art, strategically placed in the public landscape. It was a huge success and spurned a new view towards public art in this country. The project was successfully replicated in 1999 in Chicago, entertaining millions of visitors and adding $200 million dollars to their economy. Playhouse in the Park, October 17 - November 17, "Everything's Ducky"This delightfully zany, hip new musical is a freshly hatched take on The Ugly Duckling from the creative genius behind Dreamgirls and Side Show.

Broadway Series - Presents FOZZI- The Tony Award-Winning smash hit musical, highlights the work of the legendary dancer, choreographer and director Bob Fosse. Fosse's sexy style and unique vision revolutionized the musical theatre with the Broadway hits Sweet Charity, Chicago, Dancin', and the films Cabaret and All That Jazz. Long-time Fosse stars Gwen Verdon and Ann Reinking Recreate Bob Fosse's groundbreaking work, and an extraordinarily talented cast brings Broadway's all-time best choreography to life! Cincinnati Pops Orchestra - Celebrate The Return of Chiller. October 20 - 22, These concerts will feature music inspired by and written for Halloween with the Orchestra performing selections from recent and classic horror films, television series, and radio staples. Music from this concert will be recorded for Telarc. Concert-goers are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costume to celebrate Halloween wih the Pops. Time: 8:00pm. Cincinnati Airport Marriott

Although many events will take place in the heart of Northern Kentucky communities, the conference site and overnight accommodations are at the Cincinnati Airport Marriott in Northern Kentucky. In an attempt to be as inclusive as possible, this site was selected for both affordability and accessibility.

Rates and Reservations
Hotel registration is separate from conference registration. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Cincinnati Airport Marriott at a special rate of $89 plus tax, per night (double room) for Arts Conference attendees. To receive this special group rate, you must indicate that you are with the "KENTUCKY ARTS COUNCIL GROUP." Deadline for reservations at the Cincinnati Airport Marriott under the group rate is September 28, 2000. Reservations will be honored on a first come, first served basis. How to Get There
The Cincinnati Airport Marriott is located at 2395 Progress Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. From I-75/I70, take I-275 West to Exit 4A (KY212E). Left on to KY 20. Right onto Progress Drive. Hotel is on the left.
